Pickler was born on June 28, 1986, in Albemarle, North Carolina. She had a rough childhood, with her mother abandoning her and her father serving time in prison. Despite these challenges, Pickler was determined to make something of her life. She found solace in music and began performing at local talent shows and beauty pageants.

In 2016, she even teamed up with her husband, songwriter Kyle Jacobs, to launch the nonprofit organization, the "Kellie Pickler and Kyle Jacobs Foundation," which supports various causes, including animal welfare and the military.


Pickler's philanthropy has not gone unnoticed. In 2015, she was awarded the Operation Troop Aid Chris Kyle Patriot Award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the welfare of U.S. troops and their families.


Despite her success, Pickler remains down-to-earth and humble. She has been praised for her authenticity and willingness to speak openly about her struggles and triumphs. In an interview with People Magazine, Pickler said, "I just try to be the best version of myself I can be. I'm not perfect, and I'm never going to be. But if I can just make one person's day a little bit better, that's a win for me."
